CLIENT: COLD CULTURE
DATE: JUN. 2025
WITH: MAX LUSSON & C.PACHECO
BRIEF:
For Cold Culture, Lowked Studio tackled a highly challenging centerpiece shot: on set, a car was practically crashed into a concrete block, while in a separate setup the actor was filmed standing in that same position. Through VFX, we seamlessly merged both takes, making it appear as if the car collided directly with the actor without harm. Achieving realism demanded careful attention to collision contact, debris and particle simulations, additional 2D elements, and extensive cleanup to remove the block and the rig pulling the car.
Beyond this key sequence, we supported the short film’s narrative flow with multiple VFX shots, from removing production elements to subtle enhancements that reinforced the overall visual storytelling.
